Senior Sustainability Consultant – EnergyLondon £50,000 - £58,000The RoleThis is a key position within an established sustainability team, offering a mix of project delivery, technical leadership, and client engagement. The successful candidate will take ownership of smaller projects while supporting the delivery of larger, complex schemes, contributing to energy strategy development and building performance analysis.
Key responsibilities include:Delivering small to medium-sized projects independentlySupporting senior team members on large-scale developmentsLeading workshops with clients and design teamsManaging and reviewing work produced by junior team membersSupporting the training and development of less experienced colleaguesUndertaking modelling and analysis including building performance simulation, operational energy, and overheating assessmentsLeading the development of energy strategiesSupporting net zero and whole life carbon objectives across projectsContributing to research, innovation, and industry engagement initiativesKey areas of experience may include:Energy strategy developmentPart L compliance using tools such as IES and ElmhurstNABERS UK modellingOperational and in-use energy analysisDynamic simulation modelling for overheating and thermal comfortCandidate ProfileExperience working within a sustainability or building performance consultancyDegree in a relevant engineering or environmental disciplineStrong understanding of London planning requirementsChartered status (or working towards)Confident leading workshops and engaging with multidisciplinary teamsStrong communication skills and ability to present technical information clearlyExperience mentoring or supporting junior team membersPassion for sustainability and delivering practical, low-carbon solutionsWhat’s on OfferOpportunity to work on high-profile, design-led sustainability projectsCollaborative and high-performing team environmentStrong focus on professional development and progressionFlexible working arrangementsComprehensive benefits packageIf you are interested in this Senior Sustainability – Energy position, please contact Callum via (url removed)
