Job Description Senior Tax Consultant - Stoke-on-Trent Location: Stoke-on-Trent Salary: £42,000-£48,000+ DOE Type: Full-time The Opportunity A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Tax Consultant to join a well-established accountancy practice in Stoke-on-Trent.
This is a varied role offering the opportunity to work closely with a broad client base, providing both tax compliance and advisory support while continuing to develop your technical knowledge and career. Key Responsibilities Managing a portfolio of personal and business tax clients Preparing and reviewing Self Assessment and other tax returns Advising clients on a range of UK tax matters Supporting with tax planning and advisory projects Dealing with HMRC correspondence and enquiries Building strong, long-term client relationships Supporting junior members of the team and reviewing their work Working closely with managers and partners on more complex assignments About You We're looking for someone with: Strong experience within an accountancy practice Solid UK tax knowledge Experience across personal/private client tax Strong compliance experience alongside an interest in advisory Excellent communication and client management skills ATT/CTA or relevant tax qualifications would be advantageous The ability to work independently while also contributing to a wider team What's on Offer £42,000-£48,000+ salary, depending on experience Genuine progression opportunities Exposure to a varied and interesting client portfolio A supportive and collaborative team The opportunity to further develop your advisory expertise For a confidential conversation about the role, please get in touch.
