Service Engineer

Overview

In this role you will service, maintain and fault-find escalators and lifts across your local area to keep equipment safe, reliable and running smoothly. You will work closely with the KONE team while often operating independently to deliver high-quality service. The position focuses on safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction, with opportunities for technical growth within a global leader. This is a hands-on specialist role with a clear path to more senior technical or supervisory opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance and servicing on lifts
• Attend breakdowns and diagnose faults
• Complete repairs and minor works
• Ensure equipment meets safety and quality standards
• Provide a great service to customers
• Work independently while being supported by the wider KONE team

Key requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Lifts Engineering or equivalent
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience working within the lifts industry
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• A strong focus on safety and customer service
