Service Manager

A well-established machinery business with a strong reputation for sales, parts and aftercare is looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead a skilled workshop team and keep customers' equipment running at its best.

You'll be joining a genuinely friendly team within a business experiencing strong growth, with the opportunity to make a real impact across your patch ! Key responsibilities

Planning and allocating the workshop workload, matching jobs to technicians based on their skills and expertise to ensure efficient, high-quality repairs. Driving workshop efficiency and KPI performance, maximising labour recovery while ensuring jobs are accurately completed, checked and invoiced promptly.

Supervising, coaching and developing the workshop team, coordinating training with senior management and supporting recruitment and talent retention. Delivering excellent customer service, understanding customer needs, resolving complaints professionally and identifying aftermarket sales opportunities.

Maintaining strong manufacturer relationships, ensuring service standards and health and safety procedures are followed, while keeping the workshop safe, tidy and well organised and managing specialist tools and equipment. Ideally you will have:
