Sewing Machinist

We are currently recruiting for experienced Sewing Machinists to join a busy production environment. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality textile products, ensuring accuracy, consistency and excellent finishing standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with sewing experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machines to produce a range of textile products.
• Sew fabrics accurately according to specifications and production requirements.
• Follow patterns, measurements and work instructions to ensure consistent results.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Identify and report any faults, defects or inconsistencies in materials or stitching.
• Handle different types of fabrics and materials with care.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working area.
• Meet daily production targets while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
• Follow all health and safety procedures. Requirements
• Previous experience as a Sewing Machinist is preferred.
• Experience operating industrial sewing machines is an advantage.
• Good attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to follow instructions, patterns and measurements accurately.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A reliable, hardworking and flexible approach to work.
