Manual Shot Blaster — Halifax, West Yorkshire Location: Halifax, West Yorkshire Job type: Permanent, full-time Pay: £15.50 per hour, plus overtime at time-and-a-half Hours: 39 per week — Monday to Thursday 06:00–14:30, Friday 06:00–13:00 (assumed same as the other roles — confirm) The opportunity ABS Talent is recruiting a Manual Shot Blaster on behalf of a well-established industrial coatings specialist in Halifax — a business with over 30 years' experience providing bespoke blast cleaning, powder coating and wet spraying to customers across the UK and beyond.

If you've got hands-on manual blasting experience and take pride in doing a job properly, this is a stable, permanent role with good hours and an early Friday finish. The role Manual blasting of a range of components (this is a hands-on manual blasting role, not cabinet blasting) Operating and understanding blast pots and associated equipment Working with care and control to avoid damaging masked areas on the work Surface preparation to a high standard, ready for coating Maintaining production, quality and safety standards throughout About you Knowledge and experience of manual blasting (not cabinet blasting) A good understanding of blast pots and blasting equipment Control and precision — able to work around masked areas without causing damage FLT and crane certificates would be beneficial but are not essential Reliable, safety-conscious, with a strong attendance record and eye for detail What's on offer Permanent position with an established, respected coatings specialist £15.50/hour, plus overtime at time-and-a-half (may include Saturday mornings when busy) Day-based hours, Monday to Friday, with an early finish on Fridays Interested?
