Site Agent | Major Highways Project | A30 Lee Mills to Ivybridge Location: A30 Lee Mills to Ivybridge, Devon Contract: 12 Months+ Shift Pattern: Days Rate: £400 - £500 per shift (DOE) Employer: Tier One Civil Engineering Contractor Take the Lead on a Major Infrastructure Scheme Morson is recruiting for an experienced Site Agent to join a leading Tier One contractor delivering a significant highways improvement project on the A30 between Lee Mills and Ivybridge .

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role on a high-profile infrastructure scheme that will improve connectivity and enhance one of the South West's most important transport routes. You'll take ownership of day-to-day site operations, lead site teams, and help drive the safe and successful delivery of works from construction through to completion.

We're looking for a confident and proactive Site Agent with a strong background in highways and civil engineering who thrives in a fast-paced project environment and enjoys leading teams from the front. The Role As Site Agent, you'll be responsible for the effective management and coordination of site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage day-to-day site operations across the project Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, plant, materials and resources Drive programme delivery and monitor progress against project milestones Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) requirements Review and implement RAMS and safe systems of work Identify and mitigate project risks, issues and delays Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, clients and key stakeholders Manage multiple work fronts and ensure activities are effectively planned and coordinated Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality throughout delivery Support the successful completion of a major highways infrastructure scheme What We're Looking For Proven experience working as a Site Agent on highways, infrastructure or major civil engineering projects Strong knowledge of highways construction, groundworks and civil engineering activities Experience managing subcontractors and multi-disciplined site teams Excellent leadership and communication skills Strong organisational and planning capabilities Ability to make effective decisions in a fast-moving construction environment Thorough understanding of HSEQ legislation, standards and best practice A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to successful project delivery Essential Qualifications ?
