Site Agent – Civils / Public Realm Location: North East England Salary: Up to £62,000 + Car Allowance Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time We are currently looking to speak with an experienced Site Agent to join an established civil engineering contractor on a permanent, salaried basis.

The role will involve taking responsibility for the delivery of a range of civil engineering and public realm projects across the North East, including active travel schemes, cycleways, paving, kerbing, footpaths and associated infrastructure works.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Agent with a strong civils background who can take ownership of site delivery, manage site teams and subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme and commercial expectations. Key Responsibilities

• Taking responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of civil engineering projects.
• Managing site teams, subcontractors, plant and resources.
• Planning and monitoring site activities to ensure works are delivered to programme.
• Ensuring construction works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Monitoring progress, identifying potential issues and implementing solutions.
• Liaising with Project Managers, clients and other key stakeholders.
• Maintaining accurate site records, reports and project documentation.
• Supporting commercial and contractual requirements throughout project delivery. Requirements
• Previous experience as a Site Agent or in a similar site management position within civil engineering.
• Strong background in highways, public realm or infrastructure projects.
• Experience delivering works such as paving, kerbing, cycleways, footpaths or associated groundworks.
• Proven ability to manage site teams and subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, programme management and site health and safety.
• Good communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence. Package
• Salary up to £62,000, depending on experience.
• Car allowance.
• Permanent, salaried position.
