Site Agent

An established civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is looking for an experienced Site Agent to join their team in Hounslow, West London. Responsibilities for Site Agent: Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of projects across the Civils and Water sectors Lead a team of Sub Agents, Engineers, and Foremen to deliver work safely, without environmental incidents, and to the specified quality Produce and manage construction programmes, 2-week look-aheads, and procurement schedules Ensure production and implementation of Project Plans, RAMS, ITPs, and Waste Management Plans Maximise commercial performance, identify value engineering opportunities, and maintain commercial tension Manage Early Warnings and Compensation Events in line with contract requirements Produce accurate monthly reports internally and for the client, and chair weekly site meetings Represent the business in an ambassadorial capacity to customers, the public, and official bodies Ensure detailed site diaries and records are completed throughout Essential Requirements for Site Agent: Proven experience as a Site Agent within civil engineering, delivering projects in a highly regulated environment Strong heavy civils background with experience in confined space working Working knowledge of CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme & Risk Management, and cost control Good knowledge of specifications and testing regimes relevant to civil engineering Experience managing Early Warnings, Compensation Events, and programme management Strong environmental awareness and compliance Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent CSCS card, SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely, Temporary Works Coordinator, Lifting Appointed Person, and Confined Space training Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills
