Job IntroductionSkillset: civil engineering/construction managementJob location: Victoria Road Crossover Box/Victoria Road Ancillary ShaftAccessible by public transport? yesWorking hours: Weekdays & some weekend/night shift hours during railway or highwaypossessionsContract: PermanentRoleSite Engineer – Victoria Road Ancillary Shaft / Victoria Road Crossover BoxReporting to Section Engineer /Sub AgentRole Responsibility· Preparing and attending the Start of Shift Briefing· Setting up work sites with GF/ Works Manager· Working with the subcontractors and self delivery teams to ensure the timelypreparation Risk Assessment Method Statements, Task Briefing Sheets,Inspection and Test Plans, Permits, Materials Compliance Records etc for theworks and that these are implemented.· Day to day work site coordination and planning to ensure the works are carried outsafely and efficiently.· Writing and issuing the daily site diary· Ensuring Permits, Temporary Works and other safey systems are implemented· Liaison with the Section Foreman to ensure the adherence to safe methods ofwork.· Ensuring all temporary works needs are identified sufficiently early and completedin accordance with the relevant procedures.· Ensuring all quality checks are carried out in accordance with the ITP's andproperly recorded. · The management of non-conformance reporting and managing thenonconformances on site until complete.

The Ideal CandidateEssential: · Degree or equivalent in civil / Environmental engineering or similar · Relevant CSCS Card · Computer competence (MS Word, Excel, Document control system) Desired: · Prior experience in Civil engineering / Infrastructure projects · Computer competence (CAD) · Relevant Experience with a Tier 1 Contractor · First Aid Trained · Fire Marshall TraineeSCS Railways Take the next step in your career now, scroll down to read the full role description and make your application.
