Site Manager – Construction Location: Glasgow Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Employment: Permanent, Full-Time An established and highly regarded Scottish construction contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join its growing project delivery team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a capable Site Manager who takes ownership of their projects, maintains high standards on site and is comfortable managing projects from initial mobilisation through to successful handover.

The Role As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of construction projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards .

Key responsibilities will include

Managing all day-to-day activities on site Coordinating subcontractors, trades and suppliers Managing project programmes and ensuring key milestones are achieved Maintaining high standards of health & safety Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and site inspections Monitoring quality and ensuring works are completed to specification Liaising with Contracts Managers, Quantity Surveyors and the wider project team Managing client and consultant relationships at site level Identifying and resolving potential programme or construction issues Managing site records, progress reporting and project documentation Coordinating deliveries, labour and site logistics Managing snagging and ensuring a high-quality project handover About You We are looking for an experienced construction professional with a strong track record of successfully managing projects on site.

Ideally, you will have: Previous experience working as a Site Manager with a recognised main contractor Strong understanding of construction processes and sequencing Excellent subcontractor management skills Good knowledge of health & safety requirements Ability to manage programmes and work to demanding project deadlines Strong communication and leadership skills A proactive approach to identifying and resolving site issues Good commercial awareness High standards when it comes to quality and project presentation Relevant qualifications should ideally include: SMSTS CSCS First Aid Relevant construction qualification or trade background would be advantageous The Opportunity This is an opportunity to join a well-established Scottish contractor with a strong reputation for delivering quality construction projects.
