Site Manager – Term-Time Only (Split Shift) Full-Time • Immediate Start • Derby A hands-on Site Manager is required to support two specialist school sites. This role covers practical site management, caretaking, maintenance, security, statutory checks and contractor monitoring . About the Role Routine maintenance, minor repairs, painting, plumbing and practical caretaking

• Opening, closing and securing the premises (split-shift pattern)
• Occasional out-of-hours call-outs
• Cleaning support, waste disposal and replenishing toiletries
• Monitoring contractors and ensuring safe working practices
• Completing compliance checks: fire safety, CoSHH, legionella, PAT testing, H&S records
• Grounds maintenance, drains, gullies and external areas
• Furniture moves, deliveries and general porterage
• Working flexibly across two sites depending on daily priorities
• Candidate Suitability Comfortable carrying out practical duties personally , not just supervising
• Experienced in environments supporting pupils with additional or behavioural needs
• Confident working across two sites and adapting to changing demands
• Accepts the split-shift hours and potential call-outs
• Happy completing routine site duties , cleaning support and operational checks
• Hours Monday–Friday
• 7:00am–10:30am and 2:00pm–6:00pm (term-time only)
• What We're Looking For Health & Safety knowledge (Fire Safety, CoSHH, Legionella, Asbestos Awareness)
• Experience in site/facilities management
• Strong problem-solving and organisation
• Good communication and record-keeping
• Full UK driving licence
