Site Manager – Civil Engineering / Substation Project !NG PERSONS NEEDED TO BE CONSIDERED! Location: Walpole Substation Contract: Until April 2027 Sector: Civil Engineering / Utilities Force Contracting Services is currently seeking an experienced Site Manager with a strong civil engineering background to join a major substation project at Walpole.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager with a background in civils and utilities infrastructure to take responsibility for the safe and successful delivery of site operations on a major energy infrastructure project. Key Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day site operations and coordinating site activities.
- Supervising subcontractors and site personnel.
- Ensuring all works are delivered safely and in accordance with project specifications.
- Managing programme and progress against project deadlines.
- Ensuring RAMS, permits and site documentation are in place.
- Monitoring quality and ensuring works meet required standards.
- Liaising with the Project Manager, engineers and client representatives.
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
- Providing regular progress updates and reporting on site activities. Essential Requirements Candidates must hold all of the following:
- SMSTS – Site Management Safety Training Scheme.
- TWC – Temporary Works Coordinator qualification.
- Emergency First Aid at Work (or equivalent valid First Aid qualification).
- Previous experience managing civil engineering projects.
- Experience working within utilities, substations or major infrastructure projects would be highly advantageous. Contract Details
