Slinger

Experienced Slinger/Signaller required for a busy high-rise student accommodation project in Southampton. You will be working closely with the tower crane team, safely moving materials around the site and assisting with day-to-day lifting operations.

Duties include: Slinging and signalling loads to and from tower cranes Moving shuttering materials, frames, formwork and general construction materials Using radios and standard hand signals to direct crane operators Checking slings, chains, shackles and other lifting accessories Following lift plans, RAMS and site procedures Maintaining safe exclusion zones during lifting operations Positioning and distributing materials around the building General slinger/signaller duties and assisting the site team when required Maintaining a safe and tidy working area

Requirements

CPCS/NPORS All Duties Ticket Previous tower crane and high-rise construction experience Experience with shuttering/formwork materials preferred Good understanding of safe lifting operations Full PPE Reliable and available to start Monday To apply: Call James on 02380981600 Or Click Apply
