Overview As a Snowflake Data Engineer within our Data & AI practice, you build and optimise cloud-native data ecosystems that enable data-driven decision making and advanced analytics. You will collaborate with architects, developers, and analysts to deliver secure, high-performing pipelines on Snowflake and related platforms.
The role combines hands-on engineering with client-facing delivery, driving innovation and scalable data solutions. You'll contribute to reusable assets and AI-ready data capabilities that scale with our clients' needs. Pay / Benefits flexible work options learning and development opportunities wellbeing benefits career growth diversity and inclusion initiatives competitive compensation Responsibilities Client engagement & delivery across data projects Developing data pipelines (batch and streaming) Managing Snowflake & cloud data platforms Data architecture & modelling Promoting collaboration & best practices Ensuring quality, governance & security of data solutions Key requirements Proven data engineering experience on Snowflake and cloud-native platforms Strong consulting and client-facing collaboration Hands-on data lifecycle expertise: ingestion, transformation, modelling, governance, consumption Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams for scalable solutions Deep Snowflake knowledge (warehouses, Snowpark, data sharing, performance tuning) Proficiency in ETL/ELT tools (DBT, Matillion, Talend) Strong SQL and Python Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) Knowledge of data modelling methodologies (Star/Kimball/Data Vault) Familiarity with data lake architectures and Spark/Hadoop Experience with GitHub/Bitbucket and CI/CD Understanding of data governance, security, compliance Exposure to AI/ML workloads desirable Client-facing communication Collaboration Problem-solving Snowflake features: warehouses, Snowpark, data sharing, performance tuning DBT, Matillion, Talend or equivalent SQL and Python
