Sociology Teacher Croydon (Full-Time, Permanent) A thriving secondary school in Croydon is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Sociology Teacher to join their successful Social Sciences/Humanities department. Responsibilities
The Sociology Teacher will undertake: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging Sociology lessons across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 (A-Level Sociology). Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students.
Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback. Maintain accurate records of student attainment. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes critical thinking and discussion. Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the department.
Contribute to the development of the Sociology curriculum. Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress. Adhere to all school safeguarding policies. Candidate Profile: Qualified Teacher: Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
Experience: Proven ability to teach Sociology at KS4 and KS5. Passion: Demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for Sociology and student success.
