Software Developer

Overview In this role you will develop and enhance web applications using Python and Django within a collaborative digital team in Central London, delivering secure, scalable solutions aligned with strategic objectives. You will work across front-end and back-end, design APIs, support CI/CD, and ensure code quality, testing, and documentation.

You will gather requirements, engage with stakeholders, and help improve development processes. Responsibilities Develop and maintain applications using Python, Django and related technologies Write clean, secure and testable code Support and enhance existing systems and applications Gather requirements and collaborate with stakeholders on technical solutions Design and implement APIs and system integrations Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes Work across front-end and back-end development Participate in code reviews and share knowledge within the team Ensure development follows best practices for testing, security and documentation Support UAT, testing and software releases Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and technologies Key requirements Commercial experience developing with Python Experience using Django Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS Experience with SQL and database design Proficiency with Git and GitHub Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions Experience with Bash and command-line tools Experience with AWS cloud services Strong understanding of software development best practice Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills communication stakeholder management team collaboration Python Django JavaScript
