Pay / Benefits full benefits package travel perks generous time-off parental leave flexible work model career development resources Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain high-throughput, low-latency backend services for pricing at scale Implement caching to improve performance and resource utilization Participate in system, API design, and data modeling for scalable microservices Contribute to technical documentation, code reviews, and architecture discussions Analyze complex problems and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable solutions Safely integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions to improve outcomes Key requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent professional experience 2+ years of relevant backend development experience Hands-on backend development with Java, Scala, Kotlin, or similar languages Experience with caching technologies (Redis, Couchbase, Memcached) and with relational and NoSQL databases Proven ability to conduct technical reviews and work in Agile environments Experience designing and operating distributed, event-driven systems using Kafka Streams or AWS Kinesis Proven ability to optimize microservices for low-latency, high-throughput processing Collaborative team player Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking Proactive communication and peer reviews Java Scala Kotlin
