Software Engineer

Full Stack Engineer (React / Java) Location: Manchester, UK (Hybrid: 2 days/week in office mandatory) Job Type: Full-time About the Role We are actively seeking four highly skilled Full Stack Engineers to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and evolving products within a modern product-driven environment.

You will not just be maintaining legacy corporate systems; you will be delivering high-impact solutions using current technologies, taking true ownership of production systems, and working cross-functionally to drive our product vision forward.

Key Responsibilities End-to-End Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable applications with a balanced focus on both frontend and backend development. Product Collaboration: Partner closely with Product and Design teams to understand requirements, shape features, and deliver seamless user experiences.

System Ownership: Take hands-on ownership of production systems, ensuring reliability, performance, and modern engineering standards. Technical Communication: Clearly articulate technical decisions, explain reasoning, actively listen to feedback, and collaborate effectively with peers.

Must-Have Requirements Technical Stack: Proven, recent, hands-on proficiency in both React and Java. You must be able to independently write code and explain your solutions without needing core skills taught during the process.

Modern Product Experience: Recent experience working in modern product companies. You must be able to provide clear examples from the past couple of years detailing your specific contributions and impact on product delivery.

Location: Must be based within a practical 1-2 hour commute of Manchester. Committing to two days a week in the Manchester office is a strict, mandatory requirement. What to Expect in Our Interview Process We believe in a transparent hiring process.
