Software Security Technical Lead

Sector: Cyber Security Engineer, Software EngineeringReference: MT0211The OpportunityAn established technology business developing complex hardware and software products is looking for a Software Security Technical Lead to own security across its product portfolio.

You'll work alongside engineering teams to shape secure architectures, influence design decisions and ensure security is embedded throughout the product lifecycle, from initial development through to release and ongoing maintenance.

What you'll getOwnership of software security across an established product portfolio. Influence over technical architecture, engineering standards and security strategy. The opportunity to work on complex, real-world technology alongside experienced engineering teams.

A varied role combining technical leadership with hands-on engineering influence. What you'll bringA strong background in software engineering, product security or software security. Experience securing software within physical products, connected devices or embedded systems.

Knowledge of secure architecture, threat modelling, vulnerability management and secure development practices. Experience establishing security standards and working with engineering teams to implement them. Familiarity with Embedded Linux, Android or the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) would be beneficial.
