We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join a friendly and supportive team as a Testing and Software Support Technician. This position would suit a recent graduate with a Maths, Science or IT-related background, or someone looking to take their first step into a career within technology.
You'll be joining a business where you'll have the opportunity to develop your technical skills, work closely with experienced developers and gain exposure to a variety of software testing and support responsibilities. As a Software Support Technician, your
key responsibilities will include
Testing software and working closely with developers to identify improvements Investigating and troubleshooting customer issues Replicating and escalating technical issues to the development team Providing support to customers via telephone and email Accurately logging customer interactions and technical queries Assisting with ad hoc projects and business initiatives Requirements for the Software Support Technician: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Enthusiastic, methodical and eager to learn Excellent attention to detail Strong Maths and Science GCSEs Degree in IT, Science or a related subject would be advantageous Good communication and organisational skills Able to work independently and prioritise workload effectively Hours, Salary and Benefits for the Software Support Technician: £26,000 - £28,000 (dependent on experience) Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm Based in Brighton 20 days annual leave + bank holidays, increasing with service Company pension If you're looking for a role where you can learn, develop and build a long-term career within a supportive team environment, we'd love to hear from you.
