Job Description Roofer Solar PV Installation£30,000 £40,000 | HertfordshireWere looking for an experienced Roofer to join a Solar PV installation team, working on domestic and commercial properties across Hertfordshire and surrounding areas.
Solar experience is preffered but not essential offering a chance for some to break into the industry. Full training will be provided. The role will involve preparing roofs for PV installations, fitting mounting systems and panels, and ensuring all roofing work is completed safely and remains fully weatherproof.
Key responsibilities
Removing and reinstating tiles, slates and other roof coveringsInstalling roof hooks, brackets, flashing, rails and mounting equipmentInstalling PV panels and bird proofingCutting, shaping, sealing and weatherproofing roofing materialsCarrying out minor roofing repairs where requiredWorking safely across pitched and flat roofsSupporting the wider installation team on siteRequirements: Youll need proven UK roofing experience, particularly with pitched roofs, tiles and slate, alongside a strong understanding of roof construction and weatherproofing.
Solar PV, solar mounting systems, roof integrated PV and flat roofing experience would be advantageous. A full UK driving licence is essential. Interested? Apply now.
