A highly regarded Top 100 UK law firm, recognised in both Legal 500 and Chambers, is seeking a Solicitor (0-3 PQE) to join its market-leading Court of Protection team.

This is an opportunity to join a leading specialist team, supporting vulnerable clients and their families on a wide range of Property & Financial Affairs Deputyship and Personal Injury Trust matters. Working alongside experienced Partners, Solicitors and specialist professionals, you'll develop your technical expertise while taking responsibility for your own caseload and building lasting client relationships.

Key responsibilities include

Managing and assisting on Property & Financial Affairs Deputyship mattersRunning your own caseload with appropriate supervisionPreparing Court of Protection applications and annual Deputy ReportsSupporting the management of clients' financial affairs, including budgeting, payments and property transactionsAssisting with the administration of Personal Injury TrustsLiaising with clients, family members, case managers, healthcare professionals and other advisersAttending client meetings and visits where requiredDeveloping expertise in areas such as statutory wills, care funding and welfare benefitsContributing to business development and helping strengthen client and referrer relationshipsCandidate RequirementsQualified Solicitor status in England & Wales with 0-3 years' PQEA genuine interest in Court of Protection and vulnerable client workExcellent communication and client care skillsThe ability to build strong relationships with clients, families and professional contactsStrong drafting, analytical and organisational skillsExcellent attention to detailThe ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesPrevious Court of Protection experience is advantageous, but candidates with transferable skills and a strong interest in the area are encouraged to apply.
