Solicitor / Associate - Real Estate Litigation

Overview

In this role you will join DWF’s Real Estate Litigation team to handle a range of commercial property disputes for well-known clients. You contribute within a supportive, collaborative culture and work across regional offices with flexible hybrid options. You will build lasting client relationships while delivering high-quality advice and innovative, cost-aware solutions. Responsibilities

• Advise on commercial property dispute implications (leases, covenants, dilapidations, boundary/right of way, trespass, nuisance, telecoms, possession, insolvency)
• Collaborate with Legal Operations and Business Services for integrated client service
• Support/Leverage real estate paralegals to improve profitability
• Develop and nurture relationships with existing and new clients and with internal transactional Real Estate teams
• Demonstrate firm values and openness to innovation

Key requirements

• Previous experience in commercial real estate litigation including 1954 Act lease renewals (opposed and unopposed)
• Serving notices (contractual and statutory)
• Dilatations disputes, boundary/right of way issues, rent arrears and landlord remedies including forfeiture
• Court proceedings experience
• Willingness to own your work and deliver top client service across sectors
