This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong lawyer to take on a varied caseload across wills, probate, trusts and capacity matters, while contributing to the continued development of the department. The RoleYou will provide high quality legal services across a full range of private client matters, including: Conducting initial consultations and client triageDrafting Wills and advising on estate planning, trusts and Inheritance TaxAdvising on and preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney, including applications and registrationsAdvising on trusts and preparing trust documentationManaging probate matters and liaising closely with clients throughout the administration processAdvising on deputyships and Court of Protection mattersOngoing case management and progression of filesSupporting the development and coordination of the departmentNetworking and business development to generate new workflowsManaging WIP, billing and client financingAchieving monthly and annual fee targetsEnsuring files are well organised and compliant with firm policiesUsing the firm's case management system for all correspondence and documentationCandidate RequirementsThis role is suited to a solicitor who: Is a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 3+ years' PQEHas strong experience across Wills, LPAs, probate, trusts and capacity mattersIs highly organised with the ability to manage their own workload and meet deadlinesDemonstrates excellent drafting, analytical and communication skillsHas experience using multiple systems and managing detailed case filesIs proactive, client focused and able to build strong relationshipsWorks collaboratively within a team environmentHas strong administrative skills and attention to detailIs commercially aware and confident working towards financial targetsWhat the Firm OffersCompetitive salary and benefits packageHybrid working and flexibilitySupportive, collaborative team cultureClear progression opportunities and structured developmentRegular training, mentorship and CPD supportWellbeing initiatives and access to support services25 days' holiday plus bank holidays (with additional leave options depending on firm policy)How to ApplyIf you're an experienced Private Client Solicitor looking to join a supportive and forward thinking team in Gloucester, we'd be pleased to hear from you.
