Job Description Solution Architect Location: London / Hybrid (approx. 2 days per week) Salary: Up to £95,000 Were looking for an experienced Solution Architect with a strong software engineering background to join a leading technology and consulting environment, working on complex transformation programmes across a variety of sectors.
This is a great opportunity for an architect who enjoys staying close to engineering while taking ownership of solution design, technical direction and senior stakeholder engagement. The role Creating and assuring key architecture artefacts, including High-Level Designs, Technical Options Papers and key design decisionsWorking closely with engineering teams, often acting as the lead technical SMEDefining technical vision and establishing architectural guardrailsSupporting senior stakeholders with cases for change, cost estimation and detailed planningWorking across multiple architectural domains, including Business, Data, Application, Technology and SecurityWorking across varied projects, clients and technology stacksWhat were looking for Strong hands-on Software Engineering backgroundExperience leading engineering teams delivering applications and servicesProven Solution Architecture experienceStrong understanding and practical application of architecture and delivery methodologiesAbility to operate across architectural domains, with deeper expertise in at least one areaStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsConfident working with multiple technical and business stakeholders in fast-paced environmentsExperience may include: Cloud: AWS, Azure, GCPArchitecture: TOGAF, Zachman, MODAFDelivery: SAFe, Scrum, KanbanModelling: UML, ArchiMate, ArdoqWider platforms including Oracle, IBM and SalesforcePackage Salary up to £95,000Private healthcare for you and your familyGenerous company pension schemeAnnual performance-based bonusIf youre a Solution Architect who combines strong architecture expertise with an engineering mindset and enjoys solving complex technology challenges, simply apply below or get in touch to find out more!
