Solution Architect

Solution Architect Glasgow (Hybrid 3 days on-site) Circa £70,000 We're working with one of Scotland's fastest-growing technology businesses as they continue to scale their cloud and infrastructure capability. They're looking for an experienced Solution Architect to take ownership of complex managed infrastructure and cloud solutions, working directly with customers from early-stage requirements and presales through to detailed design and delivery handover.

What you'll be doing Designing end-to-end cloud and infrastructure solutions across compute, storage, networking, backup, DR and security. Leading customer workshops and translating requirements into practical HLDs and LLDs.

Working closely with Sales, Architecture, Delivery and Operations throughout the customer lifecycle. Acting as the design authority as solutions move into implementation. Balancing technical quality with commercial, operational and service considerations.

What we're looking for Strong Solution Architecture experience, and the ability to apply a pre-sales lens. Broad infrastructure knowledge across compute, storage, networking and resilience. Experience owning complex solutions end-to-end rather than focusing on a single technology area.

Strong customer-facing skills and confidence leading technical discussions. Exposure to hybrid/cloud environments, automation or regulated customers would be beneficial.
