Solutions Architect (Enterprise Modernization)

Overview

In this role you drive enterprise modernization initiatives as a senior technical expert, guiding complex engagements and shaping delivery frameworks. You collaborate with delivery teams and global groups to ensure technical excellence and asset maturation. You will influence solution design, pre-sales activities, and references architectures, while mentoring engineers and architects. This position offers the opportunity to impact modernization programs at scale within Europe and evolve the service offering.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance on Enterprise Systems Modernization
• Support delivery teams in solving complex client problems
• Contribute to solution design, proposals, and pre-sales activities
• Develop and refine service accelerators and reference architectures
• Mentor engineers and architects within the service domain
• Bridge between delivery teams and global service development
• Measure success by technical quality, asset adoption, and talent uplift

Key requirements

• 10+ years in software engineering, platform delivery, or technical consulting
• 3+ years in Enterprise Systems Modernization advisory or SME role
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Certifications in relevant platforms, tools, or frameworks for the ESM domain
• Experience contributing to internal accelerators, open-source, or client IP development
• Familiarity with enterprise transformation programs and the consulting delivery lifecycle
• Strong communication to translate technical insights into business decisions
