Overview

In this role you guide capital markets customers through AWS, acting as a trusted technical advisor to design scalable, secure cloud solutions that deliver business value. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into architecture, security, cost, and performance guidance, shaping outcomes across trading, risk, post-trade, and data domains. You’ll work closely with account teams to drive adoption and influence the AWS product roadmap, all while contributing to a diverse, inclusive culture that supports growth.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship with the customer and act as trusted advisor to shape guidance
• Lead architecture design, reviews, and workshops across trading, risk, post-trade, market data, asset and wealth management domains to drive business value
• Design scalable and secure solutions leveraging AWS services and emerging technologies (AI/ML, HPC)
• Collaborate with sales to develop and execute customer engagement strategies
• Create technical content and reference architectures for capital markets use cases
• Influence AWS product roadmap based on customer needs

Key requirements

• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
• Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries
• Experience in technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, security, networking, data & analytics)
• Strong communication and presentation abilities
• Collaborative mindset and stakeholder management
• Customer-centric advisory approach
• AWS technologies (dev/ops perspective)
• Cloud architecture and design
• Security, performance, cost optimization
