Overview
As a Solutions Engineer, you act as a technical resource for the UK Commercial Sales team, translating customer needs into Splunk solutions. You build trusted technical relationships, run workshops and proofs, and guide opportunities from qualification through technical validation to business value.
The role blends deep product knowledge with business insight to tailor positioning for both technical and business stakeholders. Based in Ireland or Scotland, you will collaborate with regional sales and cross-functional teams to drive technical wins and expand pipeline.

Responsibilities
- Establish and own strong technical relationships within the territories supported.
- Own achieving the technical win by moving opportunities through qualification, technical validation, and business validation.
- Develop technical activity plans to validate Splunk products and achieve post-sale value outcomes.
- Collaborate with Regional Sales Manager in in-person and remote meetings to identify customer needs and align Splunk solutions.
- Support the buying process with presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and technical Q&A to validate the solution.
- Scope and run proofs of concept with defined success criteria and timelines.
- Keep knowledge of Splunk solutions up to date.
- Maintain timely Salesforce updates on opportunity status.
