Solutions Specialist, Cost Management

Overview

As Cost Management Specialist in Solutions Engineering, you will help enterprise teams assess Procore’s cost control solutions for specific construction use cases. You’ll act as a subject matter expert, align customer needs with Procore and partner offerings, and feed insights to product teams to support market needs. You’ll enable the solutions engineering group with value propositions for cost management and drive adoption across customers. You’ll work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with a focus on efficiency, control, and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for assigned market segment and collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to address customer needs
• Review, build, and prioritize new logo and cross-sell opportunities aligned with client readiness and quarterly goals
• Validate opportunities with Account Managers, SDRs, ISRs, and SEs
• Collaborate with Solutions and Customer Success Engineers to drive product adoption and mitigate churn
• Lead discovery sessions with key stakeholders to uncover needs and position Procore products
• Stay current with product readiness and competitive positioning to communicate value
• Provide accurate product booking forecasts for quarterly planning and resource allocation
• Maintain deep knowledge of the competitive landscape to articulate Procores value to customers
• Communicate with product development teams on market and compliance needs

Key requirements

• BA/BSc degree or equivalent experience
• 8+ years in the construction industry in roles such as Quantity Surveyor, Cost Consultant, PQS, Commercial Manager
• Experience with process improvement projects
• Experience using cost management software packages
• Expertise in construction financial workflows or selling financial/fintech products
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong presentation skills with formal audience delivery
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with pipeline management and forecasting
