Sous Chef

????? SOUS CHEF REQUIRED – CV8 We're looking for a strong, experienced Sous Chef to join our busy kitchen team on an ongoing basis. ?? Location: CV8 ?? Monday–Thursday ? 9:30am–7:30pm ?? £17 per hour ?? Ongoing position About the Role As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.

This is a hands-on role within a large, busy site, so you must be confident working under pressure and able to take responsibility when required. You will be expected to:

• Support the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
• Assist and guide junior and lower-level chefs when they need support.
• Take charge of the kitchen and run service independently when required.
• Prepare and cook food to a consistently high standard.
• Help organise the kitchen and delegate tasks to the team.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and health & safety.
• Stay calm, organised and professional during busy services.
• Step in and solve problems quickly when they arise.

Lead by example and help create a strong, positive kitchen team. About You We need someone who is experienced, reliable and confident in their role. You should know what you're doing, be able to hit the ground running and have the confidence to take control when needed.
