Position: Spanish Teacher Location: Hertford Contract: Full-Time Start Date: September Key Stages: KS3–KS5 Spanish Teacher Role in an Outstanding Secondary School An Outstanding Secondary School in Hertford is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Spanish Teacher to join its highly successful Modern Foreign Languages department from September.

About the Role The successful candidate will teach Spanish across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that develop students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
Students study a rich curriculum covering grammar, vocabulary, translation, and cultural topics relating to Spanish-speaking countries. You will prepare learners for GCSE and A-Level Spanish examinations while encouraging them to communicate fluently and confidently in real-world contexts.
You will also contribute to the wider life of the department through language clubs, cultural enrichment activities, exchange opportunities, educational visits, and events that bring language learning to life beyond the classroom.
