Specifications Technologist

This is an exciting opportunity to join Refresco UK as a Customer Specification Technologist on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract. Reporting to the Specification & Artwork Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring retailer specifications are updated and compliant with the requirements of the Deposit Return Scheme (DRS) ahead of its implementation.

You will be responsible for ensuring customer specifications, pack copy and artwork remain compliant with customer requirements, food labelling legislation and upcoming regulatory changes. This role requires a highly organised individual with extensive experience working with major UK retailer specification systems and the ability to manage multiple products, stakeholders and deadlines whilst maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Key responsibilities will include

Managing retailer customer specifications, ensuring DRS requirements and legislative changes are accurately reflected. Reviewing and approving artwork to ensure compliance with pack copy, labelling legislation and customer standards.

Liaising with customers and their Technical Service Providers (TSPs) to resolve specification and artwork queries. Progressing specifications through retailer systems and ensuring products are approved and active in line with launch timelines.

Working closely with Technical, NPD and Commercial teams to ensure specification data is accurate and up to date. Supporting compliance activities by maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, data integrity and customer service.
