An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Quantitative Analyst to join a highly talented team within the sports trading industry in central London. You will work with large and complex datasets, developing quantitative models and using statistical analysis to identify patterns, trends and opportunities within sports data.

Working closely with experienced analysts, developers and trading teams, you will play an important role in improving models and supporting data-driven decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity for a quantitatively minded individual who is passionate about mathematics, statistics, data and sport and wants to develop their career within a fast-paced sports trading environment.

Key Responsibilities Analyse and interpret large and complex sports datasets. Develop and improve mathematical and statistical models. Apply probability and statistical techniques to sports data. Identify patterns, trends and opportunities within large datasets.

Work closely with analysts, developers and traders to improve quantitative models. Use data science techniques to support trading strategies and decision-making. Build, test and validate models using historical and live data.

Continuously assess model performance and identify areas for improvement. Present analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Contribute to the development of tools and processes used within the trading environment.

Skills & Experience Essential Strong mathematical and statistical ability. Experience working with large datasets and performing quantitative analysis. Strong understanding of probability and statistics. Experience with mathematical modelling and data analysis.

Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, C#, C++ or Java. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team.
