Staff Data Analyst Salary: £85,000 - £105,000 Location: London | Hybrid/Remote Data Idols are working with a leading technology organisation that is continuing to invest in its data and analytics capabilities. They are looking for an experienced Staff Data Analyst to join their team, helping to shape commercial analytics and deliver high-impact insights that support business growth.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly skilled, cross-functional data team, taking ownership of complex analytical challenges and influencing strategic decisions across a fast-growing technology business. The Opportunity As a Staff Data Analyst, you'll play a key role in driving advanced commercial analytics, working closely with senior stakeholders across revenue operations, customer success and wider business teams.
You'll lead complex analytical initiatives helping the business better understand customer behaviour and identify opportunities. You'll also help shape analytical standards, develop scalable data models and ensure insights are delivered through reliable, well-governed data foundations.
Working alongside data engineers, analytics engineers and data scientists, you'll have the autonomy to lead complex projects, solve ambiguous business challenges and influence the technical direction of commercial analytics.
Skills and Experience Expert SQL skills and strong hands-on Python experience Advanced dbt experience Strong experience with modern cloud data platforms, ideally GCP and BigQuery Experience with Looker Deep understanding of commercial analytics Proven experience leading complex analytical initiatives from initial problem definition through to delivery Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to translate analytical findings into meaningful business recommendations Excellent stakeholder management skillsIf you're an experienced Staff Data Analyst who enjoys solving complex commercial challenges, working across the full analytics stack and influencing strategic business decisions, we'd love to hear from you.
