Static Air Conditioning Engineer

Air Conditioning Engineer Static Site Location: Tooting, South West London Salary: £50,000 Hours: Monday to Friday Type: Permanent, Static Site The Role We are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join the engineering team at a large, established site in Tooting.

This is a static position offering an excellent salary of £50,000, with no requirement to travel between multiple sites. You will take responsibility for the planned and reactive maintenance of air conditioning systems across the estate, ensuring equipment is maintained to a high standard and technical issues are resolved efficiently.

The role would suit an experienced AC Engineer looking for a stable Monday-to-Friday position where they can become an integral part of the on-site engineering team. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across air conditioning assets Attend reactive maintenance and breakdowns Diagnose faults and provide effective technical solutions Carry out repairs and remedial works on AC equipment Monitor plant condition and identify potential issues before failures occur Source and organise parts required for maintenance and repairs Complete engineer reports and maintenance documentation Carry out risk assessments for maintenance activities Work in accordance with site Permit to Work procedures Liaise directly with the client and provide regular updates on ongoing works Escort and oversee specialist subcontractors when required Work alongside the wider engineering team to maintain the site to a high standard Ensure all work complies with current Health & Safety requirements About You City & Guilds Refrigeration & Air Conditioning qualification or equivalent Strong experience maintaining air conditioning systems Good knowledge of mechanical building services Previous experience within a commercial building maintenance environment Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability Confident working independently as well as part of an engineering team Good communication skills with a professional, client-facing approach Strong understanding of Health & Safety and risk assessment procedures Flexible, reliable and proactive attitude What's on Offer? £50,000 salary Monday to Friday working hours Static site in Tooting No mobile travel between multiple sites Stable, long-term opportunity Supportive engineering environment Ongoing training and career development If you're an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer looking for a well-paid static position in South West London, we'd be keen to hear from you.
