Job Description Air Conditioning Engineer Static Site Location: Tooting, South West LondonSalary: £50,000Hours: Monday to FridayType: Permanent, Static SiteThe Role We are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join the engineering team at a large, established site in Tooting.

This is a static position offering an excellent salary of £50,000, with no requirement to travel between multiple sites. You will take responsibility for the planned and reactive maintenance of air conditioning systems across the estate, ensuring equipment is maintained to a high standard and technical issues are resolved efficiently.

The role would suit an experienced AC Engineer looking for a stable Monday-to-Friday position where they can become an integral part of the on-site engineering team. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across air conditioning assetsAttend reactive maintenance and breakdownsDiagnose faults and provide effective technical solutionsCarry out repairs and remedial works on AC equipmentMonitor plant condition and identify potential issues before failures occurSource and organise parts required for maintenance and repairsComplete engineer reports and maintenance documentationCarry out risk assessments for maintenance activitiesWork in accordance with site Permit to Work proceduresLiaise directly with the client and provide regular updates on ongoing worksEscort and oversee specialist subcontractors when requiredWork alongside the wider engineering team to maintain the site to a high standardEnsure all work complies with current Health & Safety requirementsAbout You City & Guilds Refrigeration & Air Conditioning qualification or equivalentStrong experience maintaining air conditioning systemsGood knowledge of mechanical building servicesPrevious experience within a commercial building maintenance environmentStrong fault-finding and problem-solving abilityConfident working independently as well as part of an engineering teamGood communication skills with a professional, client-facing approachStrong understanding of Health & Safety and risk assessment proceduresFlexible, reliable and proactive attitudeWhat's on Offer? £50,000 salaryMonday to Friday working hoursStatic site in TootingNo mobile travel between multiple sitesStable, long-term opportunitySupportive engineering environmentOngoing training and career developmentIf you're an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer looking for a well-paid static position in South West London, we'd be keen to hear from you.
