Store Manager

Job Description We are recruiting or a Store Manager for our Cambridge store! A re you able to manage and motivate teams to increase sales? Do you pride yourself in your ability to work under pressure, manage conflicting tasks and deadlines?

With 26 stores all open 7 days a week for all pet needs from raw feeding and natural deli treats to hay and rabbit food. As passionate pet people, Just for Pets have a genuine desire to provide the best possible shopping experience for our customer and their pets across our 23 stores.

duties

Oversee the daily operations of the store, including sales, customer service, presentation standards and stock management in whatever store you are based in on a given day. Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase profitability.

Train and supervise store team, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service, standards, and advice. Monitor stock levels as needed to maintain optimal stock levels. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including cash handling, health and safety, and security protocols.

Resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and satisfactory manner. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional activities to drive sales. Work closely with the wider Head Office team.

To ensure that the core people processes such as probation, absence management, holiday management is carried out in a timely manner . Required

Skills

Retail management experience in a previous role, ideally in a similar industryStrong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and manage store operations efficiently.

Proven track record in sales management, including the ability to analyse sales data and develop strategies for improvement. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in managing a team of employees. Ability to effectively manage resources, including inventory, budgets, and labour.
