Stores Operative Location: Crawley Salary: £25,000–£28,000 per annum DOE Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm Contract: Permanent Are you an organised, hands-on individual with previous warehouse or stores experience? Our client, a well-established and growing business based in Crawley, is looking for a reliable and proactive Stores Operative to join their team on a permanent basis. *DRIVING LICENSE & FORKLIFT LICENSE REQUIRED* This is a varied, hands-on position where no two days need to be the same.

You'll play an important role in keeping the stores and warehouse running smoothly, ensuring stock is managed accurately and customer orders are picked, prepared and dispatched efficiently. What will you be doing? Picking and packing components accurately to fulfil customer orders.

Preparing goods for dispatch and arranging outgoing deliveries. Booking incoming stock and checking deliveries against paperwork. Monitoring stock levels and maintaining accurate inventory records. Identifying and reporting damaged goods or stock discrepancies.

Keeping the warehouse and stores area tidy, organised and well maintained. Operating a counterbalance forklift when required. Occasionally delivering goods to local destinations using a company vehicle. Providing general support across the warehouse and stores function.

What are we looking for? We're keen to hear from individuals who are reliable, organised and enjoy working in a practical, fast-paced environment. Ideally, you'll have: Previous experience in a warehouse, stores or goods-in environment.

Experience with picking, packing, stock control and dispatch. A full, valid UK driving licence. A valid counterbalance forklift licence. Experience handling components, parts or working with product codes. Good attention to detail and the ability to work accurately.

A proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. What's in it for you? Competitive salary of £25,000–£28,000 per annum, depending on experience. Monday–Friday working hours, 8:00am–5:00pm.
