Job Title: Stores Person (Temporary)Reporting To: Stores ManagerLocation: Site-BasedPay Rate: £12.71 per hourShift Pattern: 06:00 – 13:30About the Role We are currently recruiting for a reliable and detail-oriented Stores person to join our team on a temporary basis.

This is a front-facing role where you will be responsible for maintaining high standards within the stores environment while ensuring product availability for the client. You will play a key role in supporting daily operations through efficient stock management, accurate processing, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver exceptional customer service and maintain professional client relationshipsAccurately issue stock products in a timely mannerSource and provide supplier catalogues and product informationExpedite outstanding purchase orders when required Candidate Requirements (Essential)Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)Previous experience in a manufacturing or production-based stores environment, or working closely with engineersA strong focus on delivering excellent customer serviceAbility to work effectively within a teamComfortable working in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyGood IT skills (SAP experience desirable but not essential)Strong organisational skillsBook in goods received using the stock control systemManage and release back orders for deliveryConfirm customer deliveries promptlyEnsure all documentation is completed accurately and authorised where requiredComplete stock deliveries within one working dayCarry out regular stock checks and maintain accurate recordsRecord stock locations and make necessary adjustmentsMaintain high housekeeping standards within the stores environmentAttend site meetings and follow up on actions as requiredSupport additional duties in line with the role
