Overview

In this Strategic Sourcing Executive role, you will help optimise supplier relationships and onboarding to support Softcat’s IT supply chain. You’ll collaborate with multiple internal teams to ensure efficient procurement and favorable supplier terms. You’ll analyse trends, drive best practices, and manage communications with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Responsibilities

• Track and collect Softcat rebates to ensure accuracy and timely payment
• Onboard new suppliers by assessing requirements and completing the onboarding process
• Analyze procurement trends using internal reporting
• Drive best practices in supplier routes
• Manage a busy inbox to support the internal sales team
• Collaborate with UK and Multi‑National supply chains

Key requirements

• Experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement or Operational roles
• Knowledge or experience of the IT channel is an advantage
• Confident in building relationships with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized and process driven
• Proven negotiation skills
• Ability to run reports and analyse data using Excel
