This is an excellent opportunity to join an established engineering consultancy in Newark, working across structural projects within the education and public sectors.
The business is particularly keen to speak with engineers who have around 2-3 years' post-graduate experience and want to continue developing their technical capabilities across both design and inspection work.
You will gain varied experience across Education, Leisure, Industrial and Commercial, with hybrid working available once you are established within the team.
The Role
You will be involved in:
- Supporting the design and delivery of structural engineering projects
- Working across school and education schemes
- Undertaking council and structural inspections
- Preparing technical reports following site assessments
- Producing structural design calculations and technical information
- Assisting with drawings and project documentation
- Coordinating with clients, consultants and wider project teams
- Supporting projects through different stages of design and delivery
What They're Looking For
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline
- Around 2-3 years' post-graduate industry experience
- Good understanding of structural design principles
- Experience working on building structures
- Ability to undertake site inspections and assessments
- Confidence producing clear technical reports
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
