Overview
In this role you will lead structural engineering projects within a forward-thinking consultancy, guiding junior engineers and delivering hands-on design and calculations. You will work both independently and with a supportive team to meet client needs on residential and refurbishment projects.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage structural engineering projects from conception to delivery
- Provide detailed structural calculations across building materials
- Mentor and supervise junior engineers and deliverable output
- Attend site visits and client meetings to communicate progress and decisions
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely, compliant project delivery
- Support business development and client liaison as needed
Key requirements
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum of 4 years UK-based consultancy experience
- Approaching Chartership or Chartered (ICE or IStructE)
- Strong technical design skills across a range of building materials
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Comfortable managing junior staff and leading project delivery
