Responsibilities

• contribute to structural designs across a varied project portfolio
• work from concept through to completion in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• solve complex engineering problems and take ownership of project outcomes
• support engineers in career development and chartership progression
• participate in knowledge sharing and mentorship within the firm

Key requirements

• approximately four to five years structural design experience in a UK engineering consultancy
• experience designing structures in steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry
• proficiency with Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, Robot or similar tools
• working knowledge of British Standards and Eurocodes
• excellent communication and collaborative skills in multidisciplinary teams
• proactive problem-solving attitude and ownership of projects
• Chartered Engineer status with IStructE/ICE or close to achieving it (desirable)
• BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering
