Supply Chain Analyst

Supply Chain Analyst £32,000 - £35,000 P/A Fareham Full time | Permanent | 40 hours per week Do you have experience working in an analytical supply chain, stock planning, or purchasing role? Would you describe yourself as an Excel 'whizz' with capabilities in formulas, lookups, pivot tables, and building reports?

Attega Group is working on behalf of our client as their preferred recruitment provider. We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Analyst to join their team. The main purpose of this Supply Chain Analyst role is to oversee the flow of stock coming into the business, ensuring stock is available on time and in full to fulfill clients orders.

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £35,000 P/A, depending on experience. Company benefits also include: 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays, rising with length of services Pension Staff discounts, and more!

This role is full-time and permanent. The hours of work will be Monday to Friday.

Your responsibilities will include

Analysing customer demand and developing accurate forecasts to support purchasing decisions. Managing the purchasing process, placing orders and proactively monitoring supplier lead times. Maintaining optimal stock levels to ensure product availability and support on-time, in-full customer deliveries.

Reviewing sales trends, identifying patterns and making data-led recommendations. Monitoring stock against budgets, promptly identifying potential shortages or excess inventory. Identifying slow-moving and surplus stock, implementing strategies to minimise excess and improve stock efficiency.

The ideal candidate: Will have a highly analytical mindset, with previous experience in supply chain, stock planning, purchasing or a similar role. Be an advanced Excel user, with experience working with ERP systems such as Sage.

Have excellent organisational skills, exceptional attention to detail and strong numerical abilities. Ideally have experience using Power BI, demand forecasting software or other reporting and data analysis tools.
