Supply Chain Manager

Location: Redditch area Salary: £50,000-£55,000 Summary: We are seeking an experienced End-to-End Supply Chain Manager with a minimum of five years' relevant experience to oversee and manage the full supply chain function, including forecasting, sales planning, purchasing, manufacturing, logistics, and inventory management.

The ideal candidate will have strong ERP and supply chain systems knowledge, excellent analytical and organisational skills, and a proven track record of delivering high levels of customer service. They will be responsible for aligning customer demand with procurement, production capacity, and logistics to ensure products are delivered on time, in full, and within budget.

This is a hands-on role requiring a commercially focused, customer-oriented professional who can manage multiple priorities, improve operational efficiency, and ensure seamless coordination across all supply chain activities.

Key Responsibilities

Manage demand forecasting and sales planning, using historical data, sales trends, and customer requirements to maintain accurate forecasts. Work closely with sales and commercial teams to anticipate demand, manage customer expectations, and plan for future requirements.

Coordinate sales and operations planning (S&OP) to align forecasts with purchasing, manufacturing, and stock availability. Oversee purchasing activities, supplier relationships, purchase orders, and material availability.

Ensure procurement plans align with sales forecasts, production schedules, and customer delivery requirements. Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and costs to minimise delays and supply chain disruption. Coordinate manufacturing schedules with demand forecasts, material availability, and production capacity.

Work closely with manufacturing and operations teams to ensure production targets and customer commitments are achieved. Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, material shortages, and scheduling conflicts. Manage inbound and outbound logistics, warehousing, stock control, and distribution.

Ensure accurate inventory management across raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods.
