Overview
At Gallagher Bassett, were looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join our team. This role is all about creating efficient procurement strategies, building strong supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with legal and contractual requirements. Youll play a key part in improving our supply chain processes and supporting our claims management operations.
How you'll make an impact
Youll lead sourcing and purchasing activities, ensuring we work with reliable suppliers who meet our needs. By developing procurement strategies, youll help us achieve cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery. Youll also manage supplier relationships, conduct performance reviews, and foster collaboration.
Working closely with our teams, youll streamline inventory processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Youll also negotiate contracts, ensuring favourable terms for Gallagher Bassett while maintaining strong supplier partnerships. Additionally, youll contribute to our modern slavery initiatives and support client due diligence requests.
As part of the Operational Excellence team, youll work across the business to deliver data-driven, quality-focused outcomes that enhance profitability and align with our goals.
About You
Heres what youll bring to the role:
Experience in supply chain management and procurement.
Experience in the insurance claims industry and supply chain processes is essential.
Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
The ability to manage inventory and documentation effectively.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
