Production Support Engineer - London - £200,000 – £300,000 (base + performance bonus) - 4 days in office
We are seeking a highly skilled Production Support Engineer to join a dynamic trading environment in London. This hands-on role blends operational expertise with technical skills to ensure the seamless execution of daily trading operations and the accuracy of pricing data.
Responsibilities
- Validate pricing data each morning using SQL and proprietary tools.
- Bring trading systems online and provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 operational support.
- Monitor valuations and underlying basket compositions to maintain data integrity.
- Streamline, automate, and enhance operational workflows and scripts.
- Partner closely with traders and developers to design new tools and improve existing systems.
Required Skills & Experience
- Extensive SQL experience (PostgreSQL or equivalent) with large-scale datasets.
- Proficiency in Python, including data analysis with Pandas.
- Strong understanding of market data (Bloomberg, Reuters).
- Working knowledge of Bash and Linux environments.
- Experience within ETFs will be beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
