As a Support Worker within Peabody’s Young People’s Services, you will support young people aged 16-25 to develop the skills, confidence and resilience needed to live independently. Working with young people who may have experienced homelessness, social exclusion, mental health challenges or other barriers, you will provide person-centred support that helps them achieve their goals, improve their wellbeing, and access opportunities in education, training and employment. Your role will make a real difference, empowering young people to build positive futures and thrive in their communities.

What you'll do

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with young people and external partners

• A compassionate, empathetic approach with a genuine desire to make a difference in people’s lives

• Confidence to work independently (including lone working) and collaboratively as part of a team

• Good IT literacy, including the use of Microsoft Office and data entry systems

• A driving licence and your own vehicle, as this role will involve some travelling between schemes.
